Consistency for Our Customers

Currently our permanent pasture is used to graze our Aberdeen Angus in the Spring and Summer months and let out over the winter to polo ponies and sheep.

A small proportion of permanent pasture is designated in the Spring for hay making to produce meadow hay in early Summer.  The majority of our hay and haylage comes from the grass leys that are put down in rotation with the arable crops.  The temporary leys are not grazed at any point to reduce the risk of contamination in the bale and for better consistency for the end user.
